Jigging/trolling spoons

Need some advise on what kind of jigging spoons to use when working mud flats and gravel flats..in open water(summer).Doctor spoon, Mepps syclops,Kastmaster, Luhr-Jensen Krocadile or what??? What do the walleyes really like?? Should I tip these spoons with live bait,minnows???

During the summer months you should use a spoon that is as close to the size of bait fish in the lake you are fishing.Tom Mann,Northland ,Kastmaster any of these will do.Big bright chrome wheel weights would do.Next time you are out on a mud flat and the wind is blowing,cast your jigging spoon,hold your rod at a 45 degree and lift and snap your spoon back to the boat,they only HIT IT ON THE FALL.You must control the FALL.
