I have tried find some information about converting my Load-rite Roller trailer to a bunk trailer and was wondering if anybody has any pictures of conversions they did.

I am worried that my it will be difficult to load the boat cause the boat sits high to clear the fenders.

Here is a pic of my boat and trailer

Thanks

:howdy: Me again. Here are a couple of pics of what I did to my trailer, by converting the rear carriage to bunks, but leaving the forward carriage with the existing rollers. I did this so when I load alone, the boat stays-put on the trailer, without the tendency to roll back off. Yet, I can still unload/load at fairly shallow ramps.

Where does your boat sit in relation to the fenders?

I am starting to wonder if the trailer is not the right size for the boat.

Thanks

My hull fits between the fenders, but I intentionally bought a 102" wide (8-1/2ft) trailer so it would. Of course, having a trailer that wide takes some nerve going thru construction zones, toll booths, etc. But, it does allow me to have the hull lower (on the trailer), rather than above the fenders.
