Try Canada. From Petoskey you can get into Sault ste. Marie Canada in two hours. From there there are numerous options.If you have four guys, two boats, sleep on crown land for 10 dollars a night per person its a cheap fishing trip.

Numuscong sounds like a good option. I hope to try it this spring. I'll probably also go over to Alpena. Our big trip in the summer is to Lac Seul. Can't wait!

Any luck finding some hot spots. I'm based out of Petoskey and have heard some good things on Munuscong Bay. Never fished it but going to try it out this winter.
