Not sure what you are trying to do here. You can network two units with Interlink System and share waypoint data between the two units. If you want to add another unit you can, just not to the interlink system. You can run two unit off of 1 gps antenna if needed by using a AS SYSLINK Cable and use one unit for a chartplotter and the other two units to share waypoint data through the interlink system. If this is what you are wanting to do I have a diagram on how it needs to be rigged up.

Thanks for your response. This is all new to me but wondering if I could network the chartplotter with the bow unit and then be ok with rest of functions? The boat has wavewackers so on place I can find to permanently mount the puck is by the windshield. Will that work or will the full windshield obstruct the signal. Thanks Again

Recently purchased a h'bird 998c. There was no instruction manual inside the box, only a CD/DVD with the instructions on it. Do the units normally come this way, or is mine an anomaly? If an anomaly, what can I do to get the manual? Thanks

I can tell you that you will not have a problem as long as it is mounted right. I would put a transom saver on your boat so I could move that transducer around. You will not have a problem.

Good Day .... Hot -Runner on WC said I should send you a note . I am a long time Lowrance guy and former pro staffer , but I put a H-Bird 700
series on my last boat and have ordered a new Lund proguide and was
going to put a 728 HB on it . The guy at the tackle store told me , they
have trouble getting the transducer to work at WOT .( 32 Mph )
that is why they recommend staying with the Low. skimmer transducer .
I have had enough problems with Eagle etc and Like the pic way better
on the HB's . So do they not what they are doing , because really
I have mounted a lot of trans. with no problem . ( I sold the last boat before
I could use the 700 series ...so I am kinda in the dark ...Thanks for your help

The best thing is call our customer service ladies and see what they can do. I think it is going to be the unit. Our Customer Service number is 800-633-1468.

I turned my 87C on today, and it seemed to work. 10 minutes later, the screen was blank, and holding the power button didn't turn the unit off. To shut it off, I had to disconnect it. The power button would turn on the screen light, but no display. There is 12v at the P slot in the mounting base.

Can a Humminbird Rep stop in with the update to get our display demo's up at out Gander Mountain Fargo store as soon as available please. It would be very handy also to have a update chip on hand too so customers in need of the update can get it from us at the store here in Fargo. Also, we are in need of Humminbird 09 product catalogs for the customers...completely out.

Signage would be nice too as Lowrance is putting a lot of dissplays up[ and Humminbird is weak on it on our electonics department as well as other Gander Mountain stores. A DVD product line demo loop would be good too...they sell product well and I have a video display next to the units now.

I can be reached at Gander in Fargo after 1:30 PM all week if you or any other Humm support staff wish's to touch base with me.
