Hi Brycer , Sorry I have no information on the other insurance company.
( Brycer This My Story with Premier ) I had my boat stolen in spring of 2009.( Still Not found ) If you read your policy it states boat's less than 9 year will be paid in full amount of the policy value less deductable or a new replacement boat which one is ever less. My Lawyer, 2 insurance brokers & Marine dealer owner agrees on how the policy reads. My boat is still made today Alumacraft Tourament Pro 185 so it was easy getting 3 price quotes( All 5,000 to 7,000 over what i payed for the boat ) So I Should get the insured valule less $500? My Insurance broker started to fight for me an than quickly back off, They never return my phone calls or follow up with me after several visits. They hired a private adjuster that treated me like I stole my own boat. Its been well over 20 years since my last insurance claim ( Small One 2,000 house break in ) They paid me 8,000 less than my insured value ( We have not sign off on this claim ) My Lawyer had sent two emails & one phone call & they told him go ahead challenge us in court. We think we over paid him an we may counter sue them. My wife just would like to leave it, due to she is a small business owner. I still would like to try & take them to court. I hope this helps you?
