I tried a 22 and it ran barely in the middle of the rpm range with just me in the boat, empty live wells, no kicker, minimum gear.
Doug, Wondering what Evinrude you were running? From what I have read my max rpm is 5200
It was a 1989 model- which if I recall was crankshaft rated so it would be roughly the same as a prop shaft rated 150. This motor was not a high winder for a 2 stroke- I believe it was 5500 max and I recall getting only around 5100-5200 with the 22. The 20 pitch got me up to the 5500 rpm range which gave much improved performance.

the Raker I have now is about 200 Rpms below my max for a Ficht so would a 18 take my Rpms to high?

bubba800 I love DAH work

REW For your situation I would suggest an 18 pitch raker.

By dropping the pitch of the prop by 4 inches you will really improve your hole shot and still give reasonable top end.

Keep an eye on the tach - when running alone or with a very light load. You may need to throttle back a bit to keep from over revving the motor. But, the 18 pitch should give you a wonderful hole shot.

If the prop comes with vents, I would initially run the prop with all of the holes in the prop fully plugged.

Best wishes.

p.s.
Just checked the net, and came up with this one:

Another one - with slight corrosion on the blades, but no apparent damage to the prop.

This 4-bladed prop - MIGHT be another possibility.

New prop

I have a 99 Ranger 692 with a Evinrude Ficht 150, I upgraded 3 batteries from 27 to 31 and added a kicker now I can’t hardly get out of the hole with two guys and full load, running a 14.5 by 22 raker, I know a guy that has a 13.5 by 23 renegade bass, what’s your guys thoughts
