Anchor Shock

All the suggestions are very good, I would add another tip, get yourself an Anchor Shock. Here in WI on Winnebago the bottom is mostly mud and this shock totally took my anchoring problems away, In fact I took my chain off my anchor completely which was a relief for an old man like me. Website is www.anchorshock.com

Im probably going with Danforth like I had on Erie. Since I moved to Minnesota have used a Digger anchor never really liked it. Cant go wrong with Danforth, probably why so many copy cats.

Mojo1269 Kind of depends onthe bottom you plan on anchoring in. The Richter's are a good all around anchor but for a big body of water that has a muddly bottom and potential for big wind (Red Lake) I would go witha Water Spike Chine anchor...
