MikeV Meigs Field. I've never flew into it before it was destroyed.

Very convenient for business travelers working downtown.

Skywagon I flew in to the downtown airport the week before the mayor destroyed it in the dark of night. To bad, it was convenient to downtown.

My generator will run all the lights, TV, refrigerator, and freezer. But only one major appliance at a time. For example I canít have the AC and dryer on at the same time. So as you said, you pick what you want and when and do without the others until they become a priority. Hope I wonít need it this year but you never know. Last year was the first big hit the area here has taken in either 13 or 17 years, I forget which. So I hope itís another 13 or 17!!!

I was going to get a natural gas whole house generator but couldnít justify 10K. My set-up cost me around 2K. The power cord from the generator plugs into the Generlink on the meter base. So I can use my panel for whichever individual circuits I want. It still has to be fed fossil fuel every 7-8 hours so thatís a pain but since Iím retired I have plenty of time to mess with it. Kind of like burning wood in Michigan but that went on for months!!!
