|Opus Dog||Give DAH at DAH Propellers a call. He is a great character and will talk you through any questions you have. I went from an aluminum 3 blade to a 4 blade Rev 4. Huge difference. You don't have to buy and you will have a better understanding of what is possible for your boat. Joe|

|Fishslayer4life||I have the same boat with the 225 verado, 15 hp merc keicker, ulterra and 5 batteries. A 19 pitch bravo 1 LT is what I run after trying multiple different props. 6200rpm at wot. Motor is in the second hole from the bottom. Cavitation plate is 2 inches above the bottom of the boat. 53 on gps with 3 guys and full load. It also has fantastic rough water characteristics of any boat I’ve ever owned. It points the bow right into the waves in rough water. Planes out fast with even 4 people in the boat. I cannot say enough good things about how the boat runs and drives withe the prop. Hope this helps.|

|SLE||A Rev 4 is probably going to give you the best stern lift and bow control however I'm not sure your going to get it significantly below 20 mph on the rig with just a prop change. It might be slightly better and you will likely get better bow control all around with a prop change. Over my past 4 boats (Yar-craft 1895 Storm SC, Skeeter WX 1900, Yar-Craft 186FSX, Yar-Craft 219TFX) I'd say about the best was my 186 with a custom bent DAH Rev 4. Running light, I could maintain planing speed down to about 18-20 mph. All of the others have been slightly above that and all the way up to 25-28 mph depending on load and conditions. A hydrofoil might help some or a set of trim tabs would probably be your best bet however even with those, I don't know if you'll get down below 18 mph before falling off of plane. You need some speed to create lift no matter the prop or planing tool.|

I have ran a three, four and five blade prop on my boat, currently run the High Five which I love because it can get my heavy bow out of the water. Because of different blade diameters when i went with the 4 blade i dropped 2° of pitch and with the high5 i went up 2° but wish i stayed the same as my 3 blade which was my benchmark prop and right on the money rpm wise.
For a planing issue i had on a different boat I used a hydrofoil with the same prop and it was a night and day difference. Acted like a different boat it was that good. So maybe all you need is a hydrofoil, 60 bucks and 15 min to install, not bad.

I have a 225 Merc Verado on a 1975 Lund Pro V with a 9.9 kicker. I have a three blade SS prop on the Verado but don't know any more about it than that. Can't get the boat to plane till I get up to 20 mph. Should I be looking into going to a four blade prop? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
