If you could pick a trip?

Where would it be? In the summer months or early fall? I'm looking for numbers with the high possibility of a trophy. I've been to the Bay of Quinte and caught an 11.5lber so a trophy eye isn't tops of priority but would love to catch a 40 plus inch pike with a bunch of walleye daily. Northwest Ontario? Tobin Lake? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Right now I'm thinking Carroll Lake in Manitoba, or Tobin. Would love to hear successful trips and lodges to stay at that are reasonable. Thanks for anything and God bless.

A couple from the bucket list....

Eddie North just about any time. Nestor Falls outposts look tempting. A couple places in Manitoba look very tempting.....this is the sighing part now... maybe one of these days?! :boohoo:

Is Eddie North a lake or walleye guide? Have you been to Nestor Falls? Whats it like if so?

Eddie North has several fly-in camps in Ontario, they all seem to have big pike and walleyes! Many great reports from guys that have stayed at one of his camps! Try a search for him, both on the search function on the tool bar at the top of the page, or good old Google!
We flew with Nestor Falls on year, I wish we had been going to one of their camps! Another Google destination!
Good Luck!

Not sure on the pike...

If you want to catch large #'s of large walleyes you can not beat Lake Wiinpeg in the early spring (late March)thru the ice. If you spend a few days there you will ice a few 10+. Too many to count over 8.

That sounds awesome. Is there a guide you recommend or will you take me if I pay for lunch and gas?
