I use a strong piece of appropriate size cardboard. Hook jig in one end of corragation and cut small slits on the on the other end. Usually double wrap and the loop knot sticks in the slit. I’ve also used foam pipe insulation pieces and toothpicks.
Old eyes and a rocking boat are not conducive to tying knots for me. :exactly:
