Flickers vs Raps
 

What is your preference? If you could only carry 1 lure which one would it be?
(intentionally vague, just play along)

I prefer the raps myself.

Probably raps. Both have their time and place though.

Here on the river Flickers totally out fish Raps at least for me.

Raps and Flickers do not out fish Wally Divers. Come to think of it; Raps and Flickers do not out fish Rebel Fastracs. But a Flicker will out fish a Rap.

On OAHE Flickers get the nod. But Raps have their days.

Flickers for me. More bang for my buck....literally.

Raps for me

since i mostly use them for casting, and the shallow version of each, its easilty the shallow shad rap for me, just casts better and has a better/more consistent action. flicker shads also have a place but if i was forced to choose it would be the shad rap by a mile.

though if im casting a deeper version to snaggy areas its the flicker because they are way cheaper!
