Ontario fly in trip

I will be in London Ontario this June for a few days and wanted to know about nearby walleye fishing? Would London be a good spot for a jump off spot for a fly in trip? Anything within a few hours drive for great walleye fishing?

Any thoughts for a good trip for 2?

Thanks

fly in from london?? your looking at minimum 8 hour drive. Your within an hour and a half of incredible walleye fishing on Lake Erie. Depending on dates walleye smallmouth and musky on lake St Clair.. You won't catch the numbers like you will in northern ontario,, but size will be much better on average. What's the dates your in the area? I spend all my days off in the area fishing.

London Ont is not walleye country. Take a look at a map. Locate London Ont and then find Kenora Ont. Might as well go bass in Alabama......shorter drive. Geography is perplexing huh?

Well.....actually, there is one really great option for a fly in, but you're going to pay a premium for it.

The Old Post on Lake St. Joseph offers 5 day packages direct from Goderich ON which is roughly a 1 hour drive from London.

I can say quite definitively that this is your ONLY option for a fly in trip in the London area. :)

I'm in the area June 12-22. If your going to be around the week prior to that party I can get you out on erie a couple times. If not look for a charter out of leamington or colchester ontario for erie eyes,, or lake stclair for musky,, the musky fishing there is phenomenal, it's all trolling but it's possible to get 50"+ fish and it's very common to hook into 10+ a trip. Also might be worth investigating the bay of quinte for walleyes
