If you want to run an external transducer on one of these trolling motors our Cable Guard is the way to go. The transducer cable is housed in a heavy-duty coiled hose and attached to the top and bottom of the trolling motor shaft by a machined aluminum clamp. This positions the transducer cable away from the housing allowing the trolling motor to turn without binding the transducer cable. Hundreds in use and works great!
