I do have a PRO XS 250 HP on a Lund Tyee 2075 Magnum.
I had a Verado L6 225 hp (tuned to 300) before on a Crestliner 2050 Authority.
They are both comparable boat in term of size and weight.

John that's 100% true but i'm pretty sure Lund have less margin for that than a welded hull and that's what i wanted to tell.
Also not all prop are created equal... Bravo's are known to be off...

Usually the PRO XS series have a bit more HP than the regular. On a 250 we are talking about 265-270 hp. It can translate to about 1-2 mph faster.
I choose the PRO XS because why not ! More...

Well i had a Verado I6 before my new PRO XS.
I kinda miss the electric power steering of the old Verado. It is not a deal breaker but the Seastar is definitely not as smooth and is harder to turn....

I can tell you that the new PRO XS is about atleast 1 mpg better than the I6 Verado for the same speed on my boat. You'll see about 10-15% better fuel efficiency.
I can't compare with the E-Tec
