On mine too it was a 600 that I replace with a 1000 (just the cartridge). I have try 2 differents automatic system from Johnson and they didn’t work properly so I just don’t use any automatic system.

Hows does it happen? I always tight up the screw firmly once the holder is positioned and never get it loose. I would certainly don’t want to loose my Tekota and my Talora.

I already use the Scotty rod holders in the track and to make things easier I don’t pur the end caps on the tracks so it’s only a matter of sliding in and out when not in use.
