Speed through water is way different than speed over ground when fishing a river. Pulling harnesses upriver may be very slow (SOG) vs downriver. I tend to pull just fast enough to spin blades....

Arrows don't fly straight. It came in at enough of an angle to push the aluminum out of the way. Once it penetrated, it had to straighten out, hence the divot at the bottom of the hole.
