Multi- Species vs. Center Consoles

In my opinion multi species boats are much more versatile. Multi- Species boats are much easier to fish out of on inland lakes as they are easier to control in wind.

Jig Colors

In no particular order the colors that work the best for me are as follows:

Pink/ White
Chartruse/ Lime Green

I agree. This is a good circuit. I fished it last year and will fish it again this year.

It is a well run circuit.

Saltists

I have used accudepths for about three years or so. I purchased 2 of the saltist reels at the beginning of the season. In my opinion, the saltists are amazing. I like the high speed gear ratio; it...

Kevin,

I agree that statement about the scales being rigged was sheer stupidity.

Congrats on the first day lead Rich. The leaders have to be heartbroken after the severs cold front came...

Vicious

I tried the vicious fluerocarbon line three years ago and absolutley hated it. I put it on a spinning reel. It was way too stiff and much thicker than other lines. I will never buy it again.

Pro Bowl

I think moving the pro bowl to the week before the super bowl is a novel idea. After the super bowl has been played I lose interest in football until August. I rarely watched the pro bowl and won't...

Harnesses

In the winter, I take all my harnesses off the noodles and check the line for frays and nicks especially between the two hooks. I also check for damaged clevises, dull or damaged hooks and take the...

The water in the lake also turns a brownish color and often times dead weeds can be observed floating.

Tattle Flags

I am using 10# mono. I guess the pads need replaced or I may just buy all new releases. The release is tightened as much as it can be.

Tattle Flags

First, I want to say that I have had my boards for three years now. I do not like to wrap the line aroung the clips (I use a snapper release on the front and a red OR 18 release on the back). I have...

I also did not want to have 8 or 10 line counter combos lying around. It has been my experience that:

1) Mono works best for pulling boards (both in line weigths and cranks)

2) I learned this...

Enertia Prop

I have a 19 pitch enertial on my 150 opti. It pushes an 1800 pro v around. I am amazed at the prop and motor on my boat. It gets on plane as fast as any boat out there. I can beat most boats out of...

Vicious

I don't think it is even close to the quality of seaguar. I bought a spool because it was half the price of seaguar. I will not buy another.

I have an 1800 pro v with a 150 opti and a prokicker. I really like my boat. I have spent just about every waking moment in it for the last six weeks (on weekends). When I fish in waves three feet or...

knot

If you are using braided line and tie the knot where you wrap 6-8 times and then go through the loops, the line will often times pull out. I have had it happen to me numerous times. I agree that...

vicious fluorocarbon line

I purchased a spool of it last year and put it on a spinning reel. I used it for two or three evenings and took it off. It was way too stiff, had a lot of memory and was much thicker than other line...

storing harnesses

I store my harnesses on a pool noodle. I cut a groove in the pool noodle about 1/2 inch deep and about 1/2 inch wide. I put two of the hooks from the treble in the groove and stick the other hook...

Speed

I have a pro kicker on an 1800 pro v. I struggle to get below 1.1 or 1.2 mph. Are there adjustments I can make besides a new prop?

Best Westerns

I think Apaloosa was an average at best film. It started out pretty good, but was boring throughout the middle and end.

The best recent westerns in my opinion are as follows:
1) 3:10 to Yuma
2)...

I have 4 of the 17lcs and I like them. I think the 17lc's hold 300 yards of 10 pound test line. I don't think you need a larger reel than that for any Erie application.

However, KGone does know...

Where do you guys mount the control box? Or do you not mount the box and carry it around in the boat with you?

Also, does it make any...
