The hand held GPS with topo maps would be a good idea. I have a bit of experience moose hunting on Windemere and that lake can get complicated. Especially at dusk. Good choice of lakes by the way.

FWIW - I have been told recently by more than one HVAC tech to only use filters with a 8 or lower MERV rating. The reason being that higher ratings put too much strain on the blower motors.
