RE: tackle box

For crank baits I have gone to a "home made" solution. I buy a large plastic toolbox from Kmart. Then I get some thinwall PVC pipe about 1 -1.5 inch in diameter. Cut the pipe in 8-9 inch lengths...

RE: steering wheel and cable

Its 15.5 ft total length of the sheath of the cable. The push bar that goes through the tilt tube on the motor extends beyond that and the end that goes through the helm also extends beyond that.

RE: Universal Sonar

I have the US-1 and use it with a Lowrance LCX-16c. The transducer in the PowerDrive is more sensitive than either of my two Lowrance skimmers. I'm happy with it.

I have used Optima Red top batteries in my vehicles for years and have always been pleased with them. This lead me to try them for my trolling motor. I got a pair of the deep cycle Yellow...

RE: Two gps one antenna

Wade

Your explanation was great. One question, will the second (slave) unit display the base map with your position and track displayed or does it display Lat. and Long. position only?

Thanks

RE: Trolling battery Gel or AGM ?

I don't intend to continue an argument about this but Optima batteries ARE AGM batteries! AGM is an acronym for "Absorbant Glass Matt" which seperates the plates and contains the electrolyte. ...
