As a little background, I worked in the office at the Lund factory until 2007. The article in the Star Tribune (and the complaint itself) may have merit, it also may not have any merit. During the...

Some are pros and guides who need to swap out year after year.
Some probably can't afford the payment any longer.

I ran a 2010 with a 175hp when they first built them for '07. In my opinion, these boats handle the water just as well as a Pro V (which I have also had the opportunity to run). For trolling...

Guys,

Just some of my thoughts regarding Lund fiberglass.

A little about my background. I used to work for Lund and as a result, I was in a unique position to see the fiberglass models come...

I understand 'Black Motor's' comment to be a dig at Brunswick for making certain brands cut pro staff programs...but then turning around and offering cash to buy out one of it's bankrupt dealers.

RE: Bruinswick announces further cuts

Here is what I got from the call…

Retail demand is down as follows (US only):
• Fiberglass – Down 24%
• Aluminum – Down 17%

(Note that this is not by brand or by market…simply the US market)...

RE: Bruinswick announces further cuts

We'll have to wait and see what plants will be affected. I hope to get in the conference call scheduled for 10 CST.

I'm not sure if the golden age of boating is over. I think certain parts of the...

RE: Lund Boats

Lund is officially partnered with Mercury, but your dealer has ways around that. In my experience, your Lund dealer wants to satisfy you in every way possible. Yes, you have a choice, depending on...

RE: Lund Boats

I think the answer to your question will vary by dealer. Even if Lund isn't offering Honda anymore (for '08 they did, for '09 I don't know), the individual dealer may have access to getting a Honda...

RE: Lund Explorer 1825...Took the plunge!

Yes...I could concede that. If you're the size of T-MAC (pint-size), you might be able to fit two in the front. Super-sized people like me (or Cody), no...nada...not a chance. :)

RE: Lund Explorer 1825...Took the plunge!

Having worked for this company (not anymore)...you can get the crappie graphics left off. The price won't come down, but you don't have to have the graphics put on. You're dealer can make that...

After following this post for a bit, I interpreted his post to mean that 'CP dropped Ranger' in one particular post above (by went522). I think the poster 'In the Biz' was referring to this and said...

RE: Princecraft thoughts.

I would agree with your statement...that Princecraft is to Canada is what Lund is to the US.

I would just add that the other side of the equation is that most Canadian manufacturers are having a...

From the inside, the company was trying to reduce the number of models it offered in hopes of achieving...

RE: Anybody running a Lund 1750 Tiller Outfitter

This boat was designed specifically for Canadian resort businesses. They are out on the water with them every day...built very tough. I personally fished out of one for a week at a Canadian resort...

Interesting price on the seat.

I would imagine that because you're requesting a non-current seat (5 year old boat) that this is the main reason why it's so expensive. After a company decides to...

RE: Is the Lund 2025 tiller coming back?

I just want to make sure you understand that the 2025 is a 20' 6" boat...not a 25' boat.
