I rarely fish with more than 2 in the boat...

I rarely fish with more than 2 in the boat counting myself. So I’m not too worried about even using a planer board.

Also if I do around 30ft of flouro or mono for a leader do some deeper diving...

For sure, but at this point I’m not sure it’s worth it for the cost difference to gain 1 foot lol. The 1775 is definitely a good boat and serves me well and can handle some tough water if needed.

Berkley lightning rod is a definite sleeper.. i got one for 30 bucks and use it as my slip bobber rod and its got plenty of give and handles nice walleye up to 25" very well.. feels good in the hands...
