I have an 1875 ProV with a L6 200HP Verado Pro and a 9.9 ELPT Pro-Kicker which I almost never use. I find myself doing at least 50% Smallmouth fishing and am really thinking about adding one...

I haven't been on Minaki, but the northern waters of LOTW the smallies are loving Ned rigs and small 2.75-3" swim baits on ned rig 1/6oz jigs.

They fall off hooks in no time, not as effective as live, in the overall the cost of 24 minnows each day in a trip...

Can't be done on an 1875, need to go all the way to a 2075 and even that it's pretty deep for it vs the gunnels.
