I think you're pretty well at your max. You could have the prop worked by a good prop shop and maybe hit 60 but doubtful. According to your numbers, if you are at 5600 rpm and 57 mph with a 20p...

I'd step up to a 22 Bravo probably. You gain ~ 200 rpm per prop pitch if you are staying in the same prop series. From my experience and others I have read, the 22p Bravo spins very much like a 21p...

You will get more slip without a jackplate as the prop is in more turbulent water. The jackplate spaces the prop back from the boat into cleaner water giving the prop more bite.

No issues with mine being turned off after use for 2.5 years now. I always kill battery power to the entire boat when I get home. The trolling motor battery breaker gets switched to off, and the...

A jackplate will give you speed because it will position the motor backwards into cleaner water, which gives less prop slip. You are showing a 22% prop slip which is quite high. I was running a 23p...

Try isolating the transducer from the boat with a piece of rubber and see if it makes a difference. I used large diameter shrink tube and have no interference with an AI 3 in 1 transducer. What you...

No, I don't have a kicker on my boat. Debated it, but don't enjoy trolling much so decided it wasn't worth the money for me.

I got it out with the 22p Bravo I and hit 61mph (GPS) before I had...
