Great idea

Honestly never thought of this route. I was preppared with the floor panel off and a like fluid pump to pump it out. Tried it briefly and let's say it wasn't pretty. This would be so much easier. I...

Old Gas - What to do?

Alright, I'll start off admitting I haven't had my boat out of storage for 2 years. I know, I know - got caught up in a tough patch of life. Anycase, sitting on 3/4 tank of 2 year old gas that I...

Rope-a-boat

Rope-a-Boat - Google it. The guy that invented it and sell it are in the NE burbs of the cities, go check it out. Not a cheap device but fun as heck to go to the ramp now. Loading is as easy as can...

Have one

I have one on my setup and it works well. The lock is from Minn Kota and makes it at least very difficult to remove the Vantage (nothing is impossible I assume). If you're thinking about the...

Cheat like me

I was having the same problems as many mentioned and frustrated. Uneven ramps, wind, loose bunks, ending up on top of the Shorelander guides, etc. I finally went to the Rope-a-Boat (or rope-a-dope as...

Bill, I've had the Rope-a-Boat system on my 19 Pro-V for a year now and consider it money well spent. Take a look at my album if you want to see it on my rig. The ramp is a breeze, I'm up and out in...

Not a guru but dangerous

They're out there but skittish - heavy fishing and boat traffic. Fall fishing for me is the best - haven't been able to break the 30in barrier yet though. 2009 pic in my album if you care to look....

Agreed

Yes agreed on the smearing but won't DI work fine in any scenario and then SI work well if you go in a straight line. Anyone have this setup?

Humminbird SI Terrova transducer mount

I moved my HB 997 to the bow of the boat and was looking for a way to mount the SI Transducer to my Terrova for DI and SI capabilities. I didn't think it was possible as the wire would hang free and...

80 is fine

My 80 Terrova pulls around my 07 19Pro V just fine. I'd spend the extra cash on an I-pilot. One less battery to worry about also. Do you have a 3 or 4 bank charger? Sure 101 would be nice if the...

Rope-A-Boat

Always thought it was an interesting invention, made loading/unloading look easy for 1 person - the price was steep though. http://www.rope-a-boat.com/ I heard about a current deal running on them...

07 19 Prov w. 225 Vrod

I was running 21P Rev 4 in 2nd hole from top. Bought 19P Tempest from Propmann and moved engine to 3rd hole from top. Now WOT loaded/flat water @ 55mph with 6100RPM's. Rev 4 had my RPM's maxed @...

RPM's

Watch your RPM's on that new prop. The same 19P 4 blade will pull some RPM's off your max and you should run your Vrod at max RPM's (not sure of what that number is on the 4cyl) for at least some...

Like issue

Like issue last year on Terrova 80 w/o Ipilot. 8AWG wire and 50AMP in line - kept popping after long usage and a sudden move to get more power (believe it was lines/breaker got too hot). Rewired...

Lund bow trolling motor wiring

I believe Lund's (Pro-V's, etc.) come standard with 8AWG wiring from front battery compartment to bow plug receptacle. Terrova 80's instructions say wiring should be 6AWG with 60AMP in line fuse. ...

19 ProV w/ 225 Vrod

Last year I picked up a new to me 07 19 Pro-V with 225HP Verado. Boat came with a 21P Rev 4. The 21P Rev 4 got a full boat (3 big guys, and full gear) right up on plane but was poor on performance...
