I have used a 4x4 block between the mount and motor for years. On my 620s I would drill holes and slide it over the pins. On my 1875 I just squeeze it between the mount and motor when lowering....

If you maintain speed you could work it. Obviously with leadcore you must maintain some speed anyway. You may have a problems when you stall the bait and the sinking bait gets in the bottom Content.

Lock options for bow and console mounted electronics

I am considering options for mounting HB 12 and 10 screens on my 1875. Dealer suggests rams for both. If I use those mounts I see cabelas has a lock system. Any ideas welcome.
