It sounds like you havenít lowered the transducer enough, you will know when its to low by the rooster tail that youíll see coming off the transducer. My Helix 10 transducer generates a small rooster...

I have the same boat but a 2019, the cover is not...

I have the same boat but a 2019, the cover is not water tight so you will get water inside the boat. If i stored my boat outside i would pull the batteries, raise the bow & of course pull the drain...

I use a m-y wedge for my my Lund Impact, it fits...

I use a m-y wedge for my my Lund Impact, it fits over the hyd. cylinder rod and in my opinion that's all that's needed, it sounds like that's what you have as well.
