Another thing I should mention, fishing plastic is targeting active fish. If you aren’t getting bit within 10-15 minutes covering an area, move. The move can be as little as 100’ if it’s a good size structure that you feel confident about holding fish. Often you’ll set down on a spot and catch a couple then it will go dead. Either switch over to a more subtle presentation like a Ned rig, drop shot or slip bobber or move.
