I understand! I have spent hours on the phone with lowrance and it's all I can do to understand them! I got a different unit that didn't fix so I faught and got a new ducer and that was the problem. I just updated mine also seems ok now but all in all with lowrance I will buy a different brand after this I guess birds or Garmin I know nothing about any of them. Sad I'm sure a lot of companies are like this and most will problely be like this over time. Any way good luck!
