Not to be Debbie Downer, but did you ever consider renting an RV for a week, instead of renting a cabin?
There is a rising market in AirB&B-style RV renting now.
They run a little cheaper than the $250 per, you are looking at, though how much room a cabin provides vs a drivable motor home is a consideration.
Yer STILL all crapping in one hole, either way.

A Duluth 31' Thor (sleeps 10) rental would run ya about $1,700 from 9/3/19 through 9/11/19 & it's mobile so you could up and move if the fishing was better somewhere else.
