I'm pretty sure it was just within the last few years. I thought I remember a dealership telling me wood was still being used when I was shopping for Pro Guides in 2016.

Yeah I know they just switched to composite in the last few years but I thought they had a bad few years before this and they went to a real marine grade wood or something that was also suppose to be better.
