Yes - very frustrating - and definitely adds to delays in the efficiency of the office flow. Often times, I can run 1 hour behind and find myself waiting for the next patient to be "processed" by registration. As you all probably know, none of the medical software systems interact friendly with each other with each requiring separate passwords and layers of "security". I heard an interesting story at a medical meeting from a congressman from Ohio who is also a physician. He asks if patient if they feel more secure now with all of their personal information stored in a medical software program in the "cloud" or did they feel safer when it was stored in an old fashion folding folder in a common steelcase file cabinet in his office?... Progress...
