Default Humminbird Trasom Transducer Mount on Ranger 620

Hi, in a couple of weeks I will be installing Humminbirds on my new 620FS Cup.

Humminbird® Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI - bow
Humminbird® Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI - console
Humminbird® Helix 10 CHIRP MEGA DI - console

Does anyone have any pictures to share of the installation of their XM 9 HW MSI T and glued in XP 9 HW transducers.

My previous Ranger had a through hole transducer which I really liked, but I am a little nervous about drilling a 1" hole in the bottom of a new boat.

For power to the console units, is anyone using the connection labeled as electronics at the console terminal board or running wire directly from the battery or disconnect switch?

My thoughts are to run 10 gauge wire from disconnect switch to a Blue Sea 5025 St Blade Fuse Block W/Cover - 6 Circuit W/Negative Bus at the console and then from fuse block to three units.

Default Lund Alaskan Front Humminbird HD SI/DI transducer install - this one will scare you

But it works... There will be lots of folks that my be uncomfortable with this install. Not just the idea of drilling aluminum but also because of the location... But it works. I carefully placed the rivet holes for the Johnny Ray stainless mount at the bottom of the Hull pinch which is inside the protective V cover on the keel. Prior to installing the rivets I pumped the area full of Marine Sealant. I ran the gray conduit up the keel edge and also used marine sealant to hold it in place. I fed the transducer cable through the front lower corner of the bow pulpit with very little materiel removal, there is a gap there already.

The result is that I now have a fixed HD SI/DI image on my front electronics that replaced the Minn-Kota Dual Beam. The height is adjustable to compensate for hull in the water variations for wave action or boat loading. If I want it up and out of the way all together I can reach down to it with my net to pull it up or push it down. In it's current l;location it is out of the water under way and drops just under the surface while fishing.

Livescope all rigged up and networked. Can be run from ram ball in front, at helm, and off the transom. A lot of hours getting it all put together, but worth it now that it’s complete.

Good to see a sticky on this subject. This is exactly what I was trying to figure out tonight, how to add a new locator. I have an HDS 7 Gen 3 which you will see it the picture how it is mounted. The challenge is that it's a 7 in, and works okay where it is on the right side of the console. However, I want to get maybe an Elite 9 TI2 but there does not seem to be enough room for both on my console. I like using the RAM mount that the HDS 7 is on, but I might have to mount it fixed on the console.

Looking at my pictures let me know if you have any mounting ideas.

Thank you!
