Default John Gillespie Highlight Show

Watched this morning. I know a lot of you get the show later in the week. It features the biggest fish of each species that they caught this year. You will have to wade through a lot of "It's a slob-o, it's a slob-o, get the Frabill, get the Frabill" but there are some really nice fish and it's worth it just to see the jump that Musky made.

So a lot of John yelling at taking other people's fish from them. Sounds like a great show. Think I'll be busy then.

I'm sorry guys, but I just can't stomach this guy. He has to be one of the most obnoxious, annoying television fishing show hosts I've ever tried to watch. Loud and obnoxious.

Not a big fan of the guy either, but I always try to watch the annual highlights show - with the volume down.

I like the show, but he has to tone it down some.

Seems that the majority of fishing shows on cable TV have a focus on "education" where as John's show - I feel - emphasizes the entertainment aspect.
Totally agree the volume gets way too loud.

What I do not understand is the "dancing" the guests do at the end of the show.
Everyone dances it seems but John!

John dances at the end. He is on ice. I love JG's show. He has personality which is OK

I saw both the original airing and this highlight show with the GB muskie. Why was Larry Smith SCREAMING for the pliers? Was he hooked? Seems that all turned out okay but boy was he barking. Gotta admit, I never miss a week.

I watch every week I know John is a dorkasaurus. I heard his big mouth on Lake Winneconne one time. Really carries on the water. I just like it because he fishes in our area a lot. Must be nice. Get paid to fish with a guide every week. Seems I was never offered the class in school to get a job like that. I'm a little JEALOUSARUS.
