I don't know if one should be so proud displaying their name on the transom along side that E-Tech hanging off the back.......EW !!!!

Perhaps you should change your name to Bobby "BOOM BOOM" Winds !!!!!!

Bobby Winds,

I found the pictures you posted of your boat interesting, not because of the hull design, but because I can see inside the boat. And I see it has those "storage boxes" (I'm not sure what they are) along the gunnels on both sides down low.

I've been in other boats with this layout and I don't personally like them because I like to stand as close as I can get to the side of the boat so I can brace my leg against the side. I am not a young man and balance isn't as good as it once was.

Not trying to be a smart ***. I've never actually seen a Polarkraft boat. Do you wish that was different? I'm going to guess that you'll say it doesn't bother you and maybe it doesn't but I wouldn't buy one for that reason. But then again, I have a boat most people have never heard of.

Hi 97, those are suppose to be toe holds for you in rough weather........I got use to them quite fast and don't even think about them now. But yes you can stand close to the gunnels with this feature because those rod lockers......I call them boxes don't go all the way to the floor.

My Alumacraft 185 Edge rides noticeably better in rough water than the Lund 1875 Impact XS and my previous Crestliner 1850 Raptor but I will say the Lund and Crestliner were both faster boats with the same prop and powerplant.

When I had my Lund for me I hated the wide gunnels, made it so hard to reach over, release and net fish I like the lower rod lockers as I can kneel on them or stand on them to net or release fish and just gives the boat a more open feel. When casting I can stand on them to get that little extra height that just feels right as being an X Bass guy.

Ding, ding a couple more replies for your thread count.

And trying to flex on a 17 ft polar craft on top of it.
