They do pull like crazy, that's for sure. I especially like blowing black smoke on the person who pulls up next to me on a moped or in a Prius.

I have a 1993 f-250 with a 7.3 NA diesel, it gets 15-17 miles per gallon no matter what and has 250k with no major issues. I did replace the injectors at 228k miles not because they were causing trouble but because a whole set rebuilt by IH was only $250.

Gotta love those old mechanical injectors.
