Default Erie for a newbie!!

Hey all, Im heading out 1 week from today to stay on Kelley's and chase some of the legendary erie eyes.
I also will probably chase the smallies and perch.

Just looking for what I need to have in the boat. Now let me start by saying I fish alot and have a 621. So is there anything that is a must out there?

I am just trying to eliminate surprises "dang i should of brought that"

any help is greatly appreciated. PM me if you would like

thanks so much

Default walleyes are walleyes

Same tactics work everywhere. I have been pulling inline weights with harnesses and will switch to spoons this next week. Finding small schools and they are scattered. Weather has been crazy. Of course you know that bass may not be kept. Nice boat you have.

Arrow Good luck

Hey so you ask a loaded question. First start by going to Lance Valentines site at Walleye101 he has as section on plan a trip. Pay attention to the section on requirements for boats Ohio has some state requirement beyond what US Coastguard has. Next you will need to be careful about which Country or even which states waters you are on. Lance does a group trip to teach how to get them out of port Clinton Ohio so check out the section which has baits to use and things to have. Be carefull out there we lost two fishermen on the lake yesterday

But it can be time you will remember when you are old and grey and cant get out of the recliner
