Marcum upgrade

Hi all. Thought I would share a recent upgrade I did to my Marcum unit. I added an aluminum transducer arm to replace the plastic one that comes with the unit. Has anyone else done this? I think it will be a nice addition to the unit. It looks like it will fit my Helix Ice PT as well, so I can get rid of the float making it easier to carry from hole to hole.

Just tried it on my Humminbird and it works there too. No more float.

Have three marcum units and came across these a few years ago. Great upgrade on any unit.
