This is my Erie setup for running 4 planar boards on each side. (All 8 are on a single track as I’m a little anal and wanted to make sure everything was lined up).
I’ve ran the shorts without issue.

I’ve cobbled together a setup using Berts, Cisco, and traxstech. They all are great. My neighbor uses Cannon dual axis’s only, and they are great. I bought a pair of Muddy Creek and think they are the absolute best, and will slowly transition to all of mine being made by them, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the offerings.

This is my final setup after drilling lots of holes in my boat. It should work great.

I would never run below the horizontal axis on a rod holder. I just can't justify losing a $400 rod, reel, dipsy diver, lure setup. Rod trees for planer boards is a plus. H6 industries make a good rod tree and they are reasonable priced.
