Finding someone to take your money (giving a fair value) and provide accurate information shouldn't be this difficult. Hope this works out well for you. I still have nightmares over my first new boat purchase. It's now all about an honest/honorable dealer and the associated transaction both pre & post boat delivery.

I went back to Westre's, the dealer further away, and told them I'd prefer to do business with them but they were $1,100 off. We worked on a few things to close the gap and I signed the paper work this morning.

If your communication is better with this dealer; you made the right choice. Just think how angry you would be if they ordered your boat wrong after a long wait to get it.

Congrats on the purchase. I think you made the correct choice. I would call the other dealer and thank them for their time but you are moving in a different direction.
