Default 2150 Crestliner Prop suggestion 200 hp

I just purchased a 2014 Crestliner 2150 sportfish sst (23' @ 2500 lb). It is powered by a 2014 200 hp verado i4. It came with a 21p Tempest plus ss. Top rpm is about 5600 to 5800 rpm with top speed at 41 to 42 rpm. I really appreciate any experience or insight on this setup. Thxs

greasycat,

I have close to the same setup, same L4 200 Verado, and the same 21p Tempest prop.

It was only getting around 5500 rpm full throttle trimmed up, so replaced the 21 with a 19, and now getting up to 6000rpm full throttle. The Verado is very happy between 5800 and 6300, and needs to be in that range for the health & longevity of the motor.

Try a 19, you’ll lose a few knots of speed, but will gain the rpm.

Thanks Redwood, I appreciate your insight and matching rig...driest ride I've ever had being deep and long. I will count on the 19p SS

I was looking at a 4 blade aluminum 21P or 20P. Not sure about running a verado with aluminum prop. Might have to call Mercury.
