Default Minkota ultrex

My remote is showing trolling batterys are dead. Their for I can run my motor all day on 10 has just enough power to keep boat straight. Come home check batterys all read 12.9 to 13.1 when motor is running reads the same. Just to be clear these are brand new batters I replaced because of this issue. Not quite a year ago I replaced the shaft and bottom motor of trolling motor I do not fish out of the front. Took prop off no line. Any ideas thanks brandon

There also is a battery indicator level for the remote itself. In that case the remote has to be charged. I have the same motor. The remote battery can be dead not the trolling motor batteries at which time I switch to using the foot pedal.

I ran in to a similar problem. Have the batteries load tested at the local parts store. Even though the voltage is reading good, a load test will give you a better picture of the batteries condition.
