The wolves are just vermin. The big cats keep 'em under control too. We got about a 180 lb cat that we see every now and then right out our back door when he's out on patrol. The wolves and coyotes don't get along with the big cats. The cat finds one in what it considers to be its territory, the cat will kill 'em on sight. The cats don't bother pets or hounds unless somebody is stupid enough to try to chase one. They got so many deer to eat, any time they want one, they are pretty fat and happy here.
