Default YouTube TV

Do any of you have YouTube TV? If so, how do you like it? I have google fiber and Google TV; however, Google is getting out of the TV business in the next few months.

When I looked at YouTube TV about two years ago, the Hallmark channels were an add-on package, but now, it appears there are three Hallmark channels included in the basic package and there is unlimited DVR recording. YouTube TV is what Google is pitching as the alternative for their google tv service.

Thanks.

We have had it for a couple years.

We use a ROKU stick and have options of what provider to watch through. I choose YouTubeTv every time.

With the ROKU you'll have more options than you'll ever need.

Had YouTubeTV for a little more than two weeks. Couldn't find anything without just doing a search, resolution was poor, and it wouldn't turn on the closed captioning for me. Deaf guy had to change that.

We usually DVR most series that we want to watch. Can you set up a series DVR setting and it does the rest or do you have to manually set it to record all episodes individually?

Thanks.

In terms of sports, I only watch the NFL and then March Madnesses.

I read that I can select 4000k resolution but have not checked the price for this extra feature.

I've been streaming for a couple of years now after having satellite for years.
I like the channel lineup on Youtube tv as it has all my local channels. I live in Michigan and wish it had Fox Detroit so I could watch the Tigers and Red Wings. One thing that is an irritation is I get buffering on live tv like local news or live sports. It doesn't seem to happen near as much on recorded shows.

Yes, set the series and walk away. You can then keep it in your Library or it'll go away after you watch it.

Or set it for your favorite team and it'll record the whole season.

Tonight I'll watch (for the 7th time) the Nebraska Cornholer Fans go from:
"We're back, and going to win our 2nd Big 10 game this season, skull and crossbones flashing, we're back to our glory days of yesteryear and will probably win the National Championship next year!"

To:
Arms crossed, shoulders slumped, head down, 1000 yard stare, thinking "maybe we have been totally irrelevant for the last decade and do really suck as much as the people outside of this state are saying"

Opps..... got a little off topic there. 🙂
