Default Painted Dipseys?

Some of you guys have posted about painting your Dipseys Black. What kind of paint do you use? Do you sand off the shiney chrome finish or only paint the regular ones? What about the Clear Dipseys? Seems that they would not spook the fish.
See you on the water!

Fish Hound, I use what ever black spray paint I have.I sand them a little first and usually put two coats on. I do not get paticular at all and I haven't repainted any yet. Good luck.
