Default Your New Lund 1675

I have the same boat. I had the dealer install my bow mount. They ran separate power from the dash and fused it. They also installed my dash mount and tied them together with a ethernet cable.

As far as the transducer on the trolling motor some units have universal units built in and some do not. That is a matter of cost and preference I suppose.

I have included some pictures, I have 2 Lowrance HD 8 GPS Finders.

One picture is the original mounting of my bow mount HD 8. They used the original bracket and that install was o.k. but I decided that with long towing distance I preferred not to have that unit setting out in the open. This was my choice and not the dealers fault. I then installed it on a Ram Mount and I like that better. I did eliminate the small light on the inside of the bow when I did this.

The dealer installed the dash unit on a Ram and I like that location. It does not block my vision at all.

Which size Ram mounts are you using for your rigs?

Heavy Duty for 8 and 10 inch Lowrance or Hummingbirds.

FYI: there is usually a set of pos/neg power leads already pulled by the factory and are ready/waiting - check the bow compartment, you should see them tucked away in there.

Agree on it already being setup with bow power. My 2008 boat had it, so I'm sure they do now as well.

Should be real easy. It's already up there.

My Impact had it already there and waiting, too. Made it a really easy job. I mounted the Humminbird unit right to the top of the bow platform. It is easy to remove from the base for travel.

the leads are there but on my 2012 Rebel XL SS , there is no power to them, you should see the mess of wires under my dash. The wiring diagram Lund sent me does not help either (wrong color codes on wires)
