Default Cover for Camper?

I have a truck camper and am wondering if any WC members use covers for their campers or trailers. I'm considering storing it outside with a cover. I'd appreciate hearing any experience you have, pros or cons. Any brand/product recommendations? Thanks!

Stored my last camper outside, its really hard on them. I keep my new one inside. If I had to store outside again, I would try and find some one in the area that does shrink wrapping. They charge $10 a linear foot around here. Well worth it IMHO.

If you cover, make absolutely sure that it's waterproof. Nothing worse that the cover leaking and trapping water between the camper and the cover. I keep my truck camper inside.

I've stored my campers and travel trailers outside for 35 years and have had no problems. I live north of Duluth, Mn and we have plenty of cold, snow and ice. Just make sure you winterize properly. I covered my pick up campers with a good quality tarp. I have 31 foot travel trailer and bought a cover made by Camco. Check out Amazon or Camping World lots of covers available.

If at all possible, store the camper inside under cover.

No cover is going to provide the shelter and freedom from weather abuse as an inside sheltered building.

The first RV that I had was stored outside and the winters were very hard on the rv.

The next new one was always kept inside under cover and stayed looking like new for as long as we owned it.

Good luck
