Default Fishing at Chamberlain, SD

I spent 3 days out at Chamberlain this week. Walleye fishing was "ok". We fished about 3 miles (a guess) south of the I-90 bridge, as were about 15-20 other boats. Most were fishing on the east side of the river in 5-20 feet of water, pulling bottom bouncers with minnows. The fish weren't very big, so we threw a lot back, but each of us brought back our limits. If nothing else, we had a good time just being out on the water.

Those fish are always skinny. Get north of big bend on sharpe and the fish quality seems to improve some.

My favorite place in SD is North of I-80 to the Dam. Go North young Man.

He can run from Omaha up to Yankton and back on a single tank of gas; he must drive a Lund.
