Trailer tire replacement

The threads on trailer tires got me thinking - how long do you run tires on your rig? I am going on the 5th year (since new) and have minimal wear, the boat is stored inside.

Maximum 6 full seasons for me. I had a blow outs in the 6+th year of my last two sets of tires. Side wall failure both times. In the 6th year I could see some serious checking on the side walls.

5 years on ST's and 7 years on P or LT tires.

I replace the ST tires on my 5th wheel every 4 years, even if there is a decent amount of tread left.
