Releasing the ego-maniac is something i've wanted to see a team do for a long time. There are a few more guys roaming professional sports that could also be taught a thing or two about humility.

Upside is i'm sure the Patriots signed him at a big discount. Acting the fool should have cost him a big chunk of change.

If I recall the Raiders voided a $29 million dollar contract. I'm sure the Raider contract was multi year where the Patriots would be a one year I would guess.

9 million signing bonus also. One thing about the Patriots if he causes any problems he will be gone
